Of all the creative sites in all the towns, in all the world, you walk into mine.

Janette (she/her) is a native Angeleno designer, photographer, and artist. Since 2008, street photography has been her main medium until other learned disciplines started to reflect and translate her inspirations in other ways. Inspired by her childhood and cultural background, she expresses these elements through art and finds that translating these ideas is both challenging and fascinating. Her goal is to showcase her passions, her heritage, and her love for art.

She is currently working on her "Things I’d Take with Me" series, in which she documents the ever-changing city of Los Angeles through film while exploring the question: "What is home?".

Janette completed a double associates at Long Beach City College (A.A. Art History, A.A. Studio Design) and later obtained her double major bachelors (B.A. Design, B.A. Advertising and Public Relations) from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

When she’s not talking about herself in the third person, Janette likes to go to concerts, binge watch movies, take photographs, try new recipes, visit museums, and practice her Italian.

Ciao!
